Information we collect

Samoubee does not require an account to browse or buy. When you place an order at checkout, we collect the information you provide directly:

• Your full name
• Your email address
• Your phone number
• Your shipping address, city, and (optional) postcode
• Any order notes you choose to add
• Your chosen payment method
• The products and quantities in your order

This information is sent directly to our order system when you place an order, and is not collected until you actually check out.

Payment information

Samoubee currently offers Cash on Delivery. Payment is collected when your order is delivered. We do not process online payments or collect card, mobile-wallet, or bank-account credentials on this site.

What we use your information for

The information you provide at checkout is used to process, fulfill, and communicate with you about your order — for example, confirming your order, arranging delivery, providing customer support, and preventing fraud or misuse.

Your cart and order confirmation

While you're shopping, the contents of your cart (which products and quantities you've selected) are stored only in your browser, on your device — we don't see this until you check out. After you place an order, a small, non-identifying summary (your order number, item count, totals, and selected payment method — no name, email, phone number, or address) is kept temporarily in your browser so your order confirmation page can display it.

Order tracking and email verification

To use Track Orders, you enter the email address used at checkout and Samoubee sends a short-lived verification code to that address. After successful verification, you can view orders associated with that email for a limited time. We use this verification information only to provide secure order access and help prevent misuse.

Delivery and fulfilment providers

Samoubee may share the minimum information reasonably necessary to fulfil and deliver your order with delivery, courier, logistics, or fulfilment providers. This may include your name, delivery address, phone number, and relevant order or delivery information. We share this information only to complete your order and delivery.

Sale of personal information

Samoubee does not sell customers' personal information.

How long we keep information

Samoubee retains personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfil and manage orders, provide customer support, maintain appropriate business and accounting records, resolve disputes, prevent fraud or misuse, and comply with applicable legal obligations. When information is no longer reasonably required for those purposes, Samoubee may delete or anonymize it.

Cookies and tracking

Based on how Samoubee is currently built, the storefront does not use third-party advertising or analytics trackers, or behavioral tracking cookies. Our hosting and infrastructure providers may process standard technical logs as part of operating the service, in the ordinary course of running a website.
